Small details:

Internal Culture

The corporate world has an interesting relationship with Pride. It can often be seen as surface level ‘rainbow-washing’ that doesn’t stretch beyond one month a year. The freedom to be yourself at work and feel like you belong is incredibly empowering but sadly not felt everywhere.

Mr B & Friends are an agency that pride themselves on their open culture with queer representation across all levels within the business; including representation on the board. As chair of the DE&I team at the time, I wanted to run an internal campaign that would launch during Bristol Pride 2023 to ensure that this message of unity, openness and authenticity was projected and celebrated beyond the business.

‘Love your identity’ became the campaign message that tied in the duality of the agency branding services and empowering individual queer identities. These tshirts were worn proudly during the Pride Parade and sit pride of place in the office. There’s potential for this message to work harder in relation to the internal brand values and EVP.
